Bucktown Kickback

The intrigue begins with their name but catch a live show or listen to any track from one of their three self-released albums and you’ll feel like you may have just discovered one of independent music’s best kept secrets. Formed in 2002 among the Bluegrass rich landscape of the Ohio River Valley and within earshot of Appalachia, Bucktown Kickback quickly earned respect from live music fans hungry for honest, hard driving, hot picking, barn burning, foot stomping, original songs about life’s ups and downs and the relationships that come along for the ride. In 2005 Bucktown Kickback released their highly anticipated debut album SPEAKEASY which saw heavy rotation on AAA, Independent, College and Satellite Radio stations throughout the U.S. and abroad. Starting in 2006, Nashville, TN became the base of operations for the band’s lastest two releases and promotional tours (LOST IN YOUR OWN HOMETOWN and FICTION PICKIN’) following the move of lead singer/songwriter/band leader Adam Brooks Dudding.
