Chattanooga Market Says Goodbye to Paul Smith

It is a bitter sweet time for the original Chattanooga Market team who have been together for nearly six seasons.  Paul Smith has announced he will leave the public market to pursue an new career as Executive Director of the Stadium Corporation here in Chattanooga.

Paul, along with Chris Thomas (Executive Director) and Melissa Siragusa (Director of Marketing) revitalized the Chattanooga Market in 2008,  and together grew it into a robust non-profit organization which touches hundreds of small businesses and partner charities annually.   Paul Smith is a large part of the success, growth and overall experience at the Market and his efforts have not gone unnoticed.  He has been a community leader involved in the arts, agriculture and many other non-profit events in Chattanooga.  His rapport with Market vendors, city officials, and the general public is well known and he will certainly be missed in his current capacity. Paul will continue to work closely with the Market, however, as one of his new responsibilities at the Stadium Corporation is to manage Finley Stadium and the First Tennessee Pavilion, the site on the Market every Sunday.

We wish Paul great success in his new endeavors!

Steve Brehm, who joined the organization in 2011, has been promoted to Operations Manager. The Chattanooga River Market & Sunday Market Master will be Bob Moore, who has been on the team at the Market during the 2013 season.
