Blending pop, R&B, and soul, Paul Childers is leading a new breed of singer/songwriters and guitarists. Hailing from Nashville, he finds a way to blur the lines cast between Stevie Ray Vaughan and Hendrix styles of guitar playing, a Motown rhythm section, and pop vocal melodies.

Childers was selected by Acmeville Records as the debut artist on their label, which features live recordings from the Nashville music hotspot. Touring nationally and internationally since 2017, Childers has opened for Vince Gill and Robert Cray, Leann Rimes, and has played the guitars of Chuck Berry, B.B. King, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and Jimi Hendrix in tribute.

Nina Ricci is one of the “new guard” of the old American folk revival. She heralds songs of the 1960s folk movement and writes a new chapter in her own songwriter’s voice. Nina’s artfully-crafted songs stand for themselves as lovable woven narratives sung with a confident air and savvy lyricism. Her onstage mien is both endearing and charismatic and she is personable on and off stage.

Nina’s journey in music is ever-unfolding. Her talent has made room for her among music artists such as Carolyn Hester, John McEuen (The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band,) and John Paul White (The Civil Wars.) She continues to surprise her peers and audiences through her unique gift of music with songs such as, “Bird On A String,” “All the Crown Jewels” (unreleased,) and, most recently, “My Head Is Full of You” (2022.) Nina’s voice has a singular quality all her own. She is a trained singer who was educated at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. Nina is also a guitar player. Her particular brand of finger-style playing bears an essence of the folk music she adores, and her ability for songwriting, she says, is “a gift that was given innately and not acquired by education.”

Host of the popular roots music history podcast American Songcatcher, Nicholas Edward Williams is a multi-instrumentalist and storyteller who is dedicated to “playing it forward” by preserving the songs and styles that have shaped our country: ragtime, Piedmont blues, traditional folk, old time and early country. Williams has spent the last 15 years touring around the US, the UK, Western Europe and Australia, blending the roots music spectrum in his own style. He’s opened for Taj Mahal, The Wood Brothers, Dom Flemons, CAAMP, John Paul White, Town Mountain, John Craigie, Rachel Baiman and Lucy Daucus, and has performed at festival stages on three continents. William’s debut record As I Go Ramblin’ Around made the International Folk Radio DJ Charts in 2019 with the #6 Top Album, #7 Top Song. His critically acclaimed sophomore release Folk Songs For Old Times’ Sake unveiled in November of 2021 and has been heralded by the likes of Grammy-winning musician David Holt who said: “With tasteful guitar arrangements and a voice that draws you right in, Nicholas’ recordings roll along like a mountain stream.”

FlashDrive is a super-fun and talented 7-member cover band based out of Chattanooga, TN that plays Top 40 rock, pop. funk, alternative, indie, disco, country, R&B and modern country hits spanning 7 decades. Amber is a singer-songwriter from Chattanooga, TN. She plays venues regionally and has headlined several festivals in the Chattanooga area. She writes, records and co-produces her own music which fits into the Indie Pop-Rock Genre.

The Briars are a Chattanooga based Americana duo featuring Jerris Schmidt and Robert Lovett, each sharing lead and harmony vocals, and each on guitar and percussion. The two also write, both separately and collaboratively, and the results are sure to please anyone who appreciates modern, melodic songs with acoustic textures rooted in traditional American music. They have been well-received in live appearances and online, and have received radio acclaim on WUTC’s “River City Sessions”, and two “Live at the Library” sessions on the same Chattanooga station. Their first full length album, “Feet”, showcases their abilities as writers and performers, and brings life and color to the different styles of their songs. Vocal harmonies are the bow that ties everything together. The joy of working together truly comes through when they share their heartfelt, homemade music. They also enjoy covering favorite artists, such as Brandi Carlile, Bob Dylan, Hank Williams, and Gillian Welch. Scenic City Sound is comprised of talented local amateur and professional musicians who love big band. Many of these musicians have played together for over 15 years. We are from the Chattanooga TN, Cleveland TN and North Georgia areas.

I’m a late bloomer artists, released my first CD in 2020.
I’m a retired writer/editor and communications specialist turned singer/songwriter the last several years. Things happen in life and we all find ways of processing. Songwriting is often that for me. I was so blessed and fortunate to be married for 34 years to Jan White Daigle, a fine woman, beautiful inside and out. She loved God and loved people, always cheerful and faithful. In 2014, cancer took away what should’ve been a fuller life but she made the most of the years she had and she touched so many people with me at the front of that list. Since then, I’ve met some wonderful women and had relationship and life experiences that have inspired songs.
When it comes to songwriting influence, John Prine is at the top of the list.

The Stratoblasters live by a musical code that says “if you play great tunes and have fun doing it, the listeners will come right along.” The music ranges from pure R&B to straight ahead rock n’ roll! This wide range of great tunes is what drives this band and gets people dancing.

The Stratoblasters are a local cover band that has been playing in and around Chattanooga for many years. In the past two years we have played Riverbend twice, Nightfall and New Years Eve at the Doubletree along with numerous parties and some bar gigs thrown in for good measure.

New Grass Express is a popular band based out of Chattanooga, Tennessee, who began their extraordinary journey playing bluegrass music together in 2011. This energetic group of very experienced musicians/singers play hard-driving contemporary and traditional Bluegrass/Gospel music capturing the very essence of the bluegrass genre’ and beyond.
Additionally, their sincere gospel message along with their “honor tribute” to all Veterans and Active-Duty Service members alike, sets them apart as a musical group during each and every performance. Their distinctive harmonies, coupled with their “fast pickin” undoubtedly makes even the staunchest of listeners tap their toes and smile. Their intention is to touch hearts, lift spirits and hopefully take the audience away from the world’s stresses that encompass everyday life.
