Live on the EPB stage 9/18: Dana Rogers Dana Rogers’ musical style is an American mosaic of acoustic finger style jazz, folk and blues. She has been performing professionally since 1997 and in that time has gigged at such venues as Soup Plus, the oldest jazz club in Sydney, Australia, and NY Singer Songwriter Sessions at legendary Manhattan venues, CBGB and The Bitter End.To simply call her a musician only scratches the surface of the many musical layers that is Dana Rogers. She is an accomplished singer/songwriter and performer, having written more than fifty songs and performed more than six-hundred shows. She has performed in clubs, coffee shops, bars and restaurants, and for birthday parties, anniversaries, weddings, receptions and executive functions. She has also performed in and/or organized songwriter rounds, benefits for the homeless, hurricane benefits, Muscular Dystrophy Association benefits, American Cancer Society “Relay for Life” benefits, rehabilitation hospital therapy rooms for spinal injury patients and also for hospice patients. Dana has also made dozens of tv and radio appearances over the years.Over the past 13 years, Dana has gained more and more recognition as a songwriter and performer, and 2011 is no exception. This year has started out with a bang! She is currently collaborating with Nashville songwriter, sideman, Grammy nominee and multi-instrumentalist, Keith Stalcup. Keith has toured with the likes of Huey Lewis and The News, Joan Osborne, Lucinda Williams, Sara Evans, James McMurtry, The Statler Brothers and many more.
