Live on the EPB stage 8/21: Chris Hale
With the explosion in popularity of Old Time Music over the last several years, few artists stand out as having that “unique” quality. Chris Hale is one of the few exceptions. Accompanied by his five string banjo, Chris’ tunes take us back to another place and time. Like many banjo players and singers from the 20’s and 30’s, Chris’ sound is a mix of Appalachian folk music and country blues. With unpretentious vocals and a solid two finger picking style, Chris Hale is the definition of authentic.
