at Chattanooga Market Sunday, May 16th

For Immediate Release – This Sunday, May 16th from 11am-4pm, Chattanooga Market will be “all things strawberry”. Its a celebration of local agriculture and what usually marks the beginning of fresh produce season. This week, patrons will find strawberries fresh picked Sunday morning by some well-known farms such as Melon Patch Farms and Watsonia Farms, both out of north Georgia.

Strawberry foods including Daylilie’s jams/jellies and fresh strawberry salsas, Miller’s Strawberry Lemonade and there’s a berry-blend granola from Noke’s Granola…Simply Southern Bakery will have strawberry breads and baked goods. Shoppers will find creatively themed arts and crafts too, with a strawberry twist.

Two more markets are open during the weekends: Chattanooga River Market continues on the Tennessee Aquarium Plaza Saturdays from 10am-5pm and Collegedale Market is at the Commons on Swinyar Road in Collegedale from 10am-2pm on Sundays.
