Strawberry Festival at Chattanooga Market

All Things Strawberry Come to Chattanooga Market May 15th

PRESS RELEASE
For Immediate Release

While strawberries began arriving at Chattanooga Market several weeks ago, this Sunday many of the Market vendors will join in celebrating the beloved fruit. It’s a day when creativity sparks and strawberry products are plentiful…strawberry jam, strawberry lemonade, chocolate dipped strawberries and even strawberry candles. Fresh picked strawberries will be provided by several farms this year. Two of the larger producers coming on Sunday are Melon Patch Farms and Watsonia Farms, both out of Georgia. The Strawberry Festival marks the peak of strawberry season and has become a favorite “Sunday Funday” for the Chattanooga community.

And more farm fresh produce will begin trickling in as the season warms up to the peak of summer. Fresh cut flowers have become even more beautiful—there are several vendors to choose from too. This season there are dozens of new arts & crafts vendors. Newer vendors are typically positioned outside, patrons can get to know them as they enter the First Horizon Pavilion. A full calendar of events is online at ChattanoogaMarket.com.
