Last Sunday, a new Lodge Cast Iron Cook Off winner was announced at the Chattanooga Holiday Market. Chef Andrew Milsap of Old Man Rivers won in this “Originals Only” competition featuring four of Chattanooga’s best Chefs. The competition has grown over the past 25 years, organized and produced by Chattanooga Market. This year, partner and sponsor Lodge Cast Iron featured their USA Enamel products at the event. The Chefs were challenged to create a creative dish both utilizing Lodge products as well as the secret ingredient—a Cocoa Asante chocolate bar.

Chef Andrew wooed the judges with his “sea bass three ways”. He is the Chef at local restaurant Old Man Rivers located at the foot of Signal Mountain and offering elevated, local Southern cuisine. The restaurant opened recently in May of 2023. Chef Andrew received a unique, one-of-a-king trophy designed and created by local artist Allen Hampton along with products from Lodge Cast Iron.
